Responsibilities
• Manage three teams (Democrat, Republican and IE) and work with them to target both existing and new customers and develop strong relationships with clients and their marketing services agencies.
• Drive business growth in the US Elections sector by developing senior-level relationships, overseeing agency relationships and partnering with your National Industry Director.
• Develop winning narratives that scale from congressional race to Presidential. Work in close collaboration with sales development to deliver industry leading research and marketing insights. Manage the complexity of Google to deliver internal solutions that allow for the US Elections team to achieve broad success.
• Partner with Google’s public policy team in Washington, DC to help further Google’s relationships with candidates and campaigns and represent the company’s best interest on Capitol Hill.
Minimum qualifications IT Jobs in Google
• BA/BS Degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in advertising sales, account management and/or client services.
Preferred qualifications
• MA/MS/MBA degree.
• 3 years of sales management experience; with the ability to develop and inspire team members.
• Proven track record of effective sales/operations management and strategic planning.
• In-depth knowledge of traditional and digital brand media advertising, competitive landscape and Google’s suite of products.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, proven track record of building strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
